Glas team Rider Steven Newton made the Semi Finals yesterday at The ASP 3 Star PLA Event in Boca Barranca, Costa Rica. With strong surfing throughout the event Steven looked as though he was lock to make yet another PLA/LQS final but fell victim to inconsistent conditions and bad wave selection in a tightly contested semi finishing 7th overall. Although having collected some valuable and much needed ASP rating points, Steven is a fierce competitor, hates losing and will surely use this as motivation to step up his game when the LQS hits U.S. Soil in Huntington Beach this June.
